God bless Admiral Lord Nelson of Hillington in Norfolk, Duke of Bronte who died at the moment of his greatest triumph, defending Britain from the combined fleets of Spain and France.

    A true Norfolk Hero hatsoff

The word "hero" has been sadly debased in our times. Just read a biography of Nelson to understand what it really means.

He certainly hated Frenchmen!! But what has always impressed me is that he was only a puny little bloke but he was incredibly brave. He'd lost an eye , and an arm, and he was seasick virtually all the time he was at sea, but he still went back when his country needed him because he knew he was the best man for the job. No wonder the Navy loved him.
