Looks like a very good afternoon for Christmas shopping, after cancelling the Sunday papers and cutting the plug off the telly. 

SGreat, The bin dippers warm up for us by putting 5 past The Carrot Munchers and we really dont know that there will be 3 worse than us come may and even worse now hoppig that the front wheel skids will win and beatFulham, just wrong.

I'm flying over to Liverpool with some pool fans Saturday morning for this, couldn't have picked a better game for my season debut... 

Technically the caption on the first post is now out of date as their last 6 fixtures includes their 5-1 demolition of Norwich last night

Going in to games knowing we won't win and hoping for a performance that is at least in some part competitive and doesn't embarrass us; Hats off Fat Sam, you finally understand, embrace and are playing " The West Ham Way" !!

Best we can hope is BFS setting up a side to minimise embarrassment and preserve our goal difference as much as possible. Anything better than losing 3-0 will currently be an achievement IMO. Ain't life grand....

I remember us being filled with trepidation last season but we got a 0-0 draw up there. Interesting to see the team line-ups from that game. They won't be that different on Saturday really

I remembered that match and scoreline earlier Tony.  It's a funny old game, but can we get away with it two seasons in a row? 

You're right SOI, how glum is that.  We've had some horrendous times supporting the Hammers.  If this isn't the worst ever, remind me when it was.

This is the sort of game that I was Sam I would actually start with no striker and flood the midfield to try and stop the ball getting to Suarez or Coutinho !
It really is going to be about keeping the score level down today I feel as cant see picking up any points today at Anfield.

Goodbye Camp and goodbye Fat Sam I reckon. This is embarrassing 4:1 down and even that was an own goal and Nolan sent off for a nasty foul apparently...  

And to think that useless wanker Maiga had a chance to put us 1-0 up but like normal he fucked up !!!

Maiga was the least of our worries, our defending for their goals was awful. Id expect better from my under 10's.
