I looked him up on Wikipedia, as for some reason his goalscoring feats had passed me by.  Some of the highlights:

"...was due to go on trial at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] before he was struck down with an ankle injury in September..."

"...only to damage his anterior cruciate ligament later in the match and spend the next ten months out injured..."

"... During his time at the club he worked as a barman at the Dickens Inn in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]..."

"...We had him with us last season and the one thing he struggled with was his fitness..."

"...before being sent off for clashing with opposition defender [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], he also picked up an injury in the game that required surgery and a lengthy spell on the sidelines..."

    Should fit in well...

You missed out his outstanding goalscoring record. 18 goals in 87 appearances for Preston and 40 goals in 142 appearances overall in his career

You are right Jiggs.............you couldn't make it up could you?

Of course. Always. If he gives his all and manages to actually hold the ball up when it is hoofed up in the air to him it will be an improvement on what we currently have
