of course the halt in the season comes just as we're actually putting in a "performance" (yeah, it's a relative term) - if this had happened at Christmas or even a month earlier you'd be honestly forgiven for thinking the entire squad had been practicing self-isolation because they seemed like 11 total strangers on the pitch.

I'm looking forward to the season resuming sometime in.... May?

Who knows... Jack Wilshire might even be fit and come in to save us all.

    Stay safe out there peeps.

    Hello Monkey,

Glad to see you have not been taken by the virus.

Can't see the season starting again and might be best for us as I could have seen us finishing in the bottom three.

The league is on record stating the season will be finished before the next one starts, which only makes sense when you think of the pro/rel implications. Who knows what that will look like, and so much of it depends on how long this lasts. This could be a new normal, this could be done in a couple of weeks, this could go on into deep summer. I'm leaning more towards the latter, with another wave hitting in the fall.

Probably means a shortening of at least next season, if not more. They'll probably try to get this full season in if at all possible, because you know any club will raise the most massive stink if they are a point or two shy of staying up and matchdays get canceled.

I agree... the season has to be finished.

If we mess up and get relegated... to be honest... it'll be fair as we're flirted with disaster for more years than we should have and have no one else to blame but ourselves (as a club) if it happens.

how the world will look when it does happen is anyone's guess...

but we soldier on... it's what we do.

this is one of the many reasons that as soon as we were prevented from buying the OS, we should have walked away...

We have priority usage of the stadium.

All other events, yes, all other events, including running and jumping, HAVE to give way to our needs, so fupp 'em
