West Ham have made a last-ditch attempt to convince Jeremy Ngakia to sign a new contract but fear they are fighting a losing battle to keep the right-back, who is considering an offer to join Watford on a free transfer this summer.

Ngakia rejected West Ham’s offer of a new long-term deal last month, believed to be worth £5,000 a week, and he could stun them again by signing for one of their relegation rivals. The 19-year-old could play no part in his team’s fight to stay in the Premier League and is prepared to leave when his deal expires on 30 June, even though the east Londoners will still have seven league games left.

That's the whole point, he isn't demanding anything. The club have made him an offer but neither his agent or the player have said anything other than he wants to leave at the end of his contract.

I read that he wanted more money........I know you shouldn't believe everything you read, just seemed the usual recurring shit happening.

Let it happen. This club needs a major clear out.

To be honest I don`t blame Ngakia at all for wanting to leave the club,We`re a club that`s going nowhere other then the Championship so why would a decent player who`s just starting his career want to waste some of it at West ham lets be honest.

Will be sad to see him go as he`s going to be the next Rice to establish himself in the 1st team from academy.

If you listen to Exwhuemployee on his podcast, he's been saying throughout that the demands "quoted and doing the rounds" aren't true. An offer has been made but there has been no talk or demands from the player or his agent other than he wants to leave at the end of his contract.
