well who's a glutton for punishment....?

I'd even forgotten about Snodgrass... he's not coming back for this game... neither is Haller... and Ogbonna is "being looked at"

so that means we'll no doubt be laying 1 up front like a bunch of losers...

Spuds have Deli Alli back fit as well as Lucas Moura, Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm .... plus of course Hairy Kane (who would have missed the game if it wren't for COVID-19)

In case you thought we were in with a chance... Mourinho has never lost in the last 13 games against M*yes.... (W8 D5)

    like.... Jesus fupp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    MATCH FACTS

    Head-to-head

Tottenham could complete the league double over West Ham for the first time since 2012-13.

West Ham are looking to secure back-to-back away league wins at Spurs for the first time since November 1966.

The away side has won six of the past seven meetings in all competitions, including each of the last four.

    Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs are winless in seven games in all competitions.

They have gone four matches without a victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having previously won eight of 10 home fixtures.

Tottenham are in danger of losing three successive London league derbies for the first time since August 2005.

They have kept four league clean sheets this term, the joint fewest in the division along with Bournemouth.

Harry Kane has scored 29 goals in 47 Premier League London derby matches - only Thierry Henry (43), Frank Lampard (32) and Teddy Sheringham (32) have scored more.

    West Ham United

West Ham have the division's worst record over the past eight games, with four points and one win.

The Hammers have lost six successive away league matches and conceded 13 goals in the process.

Their sole clean sheet in 13 leagues fixtures came in a 4-0 win over fellow strugglers Bournemouth on New Year's Day.

West Ham's record of 17 losses from their opening 30 league fixtures is their most since they suffered 19 at this stage of the 2006-07 season.

The Hammers have lost 14 of 17 matches against the current top-10 sides this season.

Michail Antonio has scored four goals in six league appearances against Tottenham

So... nothing but good things to look forward to, huh?

welp... mere hours to go before the big game... Brighton are currently holding Leicester at 0-0 and a big Foxes victory is sorely needed.

The Offish live blog is saying Nobel will be leading the team ut tonight, so we can pretty much guarantee losing.

One thing that seems to be a consistent new factor in the post-COVID season is the amount of extra time during the games. This Leicester/Brighton game is currently in the middle of 6 minutes of first half injury time. I think the most I've seen so far is 9...

Can't fid any team line-up just yet - I guess we're still waiting to see who, if anyone, can be bothered to put on a shirt for us.

73 minutes gone n the Foxes/Hoves game and it's still 0-0, so Brighton will creep another point away from us...

found some team news... looks like:

Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Cresswell, Noble, Rice, Soucek, Bowen, Antonio, Fornals.
Subs: Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Lanzini, Wilshere, Ogbonna, Ajeti, Xande Silva, Randolph, Johnson.

So, looks like Ngakia is out... maybe for good? He was one of the brighter players on saturday, made mistakes - but then in a 0-2 loss it's not like no one did.

Balbuena? That's the answer? Must be a dumb fupping question then...

At least there's some semblance of logic in there with Anderson being benched. He's one of the biggest wastes of money we've had at the club in a long long time.

Of course there's no attempt to bench Noble... which is usually M*yes sign of desperation and cluelessness... a 33 year old pedestrian holding up the game... that's never been a recipe for anything but disaster.

With Fredericks and Balbuena coming in at the back it looks like we might push Rice back into midfield... but it seems like we're still desperation stakes up front with Antonio on his own...

the little graphic on the BBC website show it as a kind of 4-3-3 formation with Antonio the central point between a Fornals and Bowen top three...

Rice and noble in the middle with Soucek and then Cress, Balbuena, Diop and Freddie at the back.

I mean, if they actually played that shape it might not be a total disaster... but it probably still will be.

    game over for Foxes/Hoves 0-0.

Exactly not the result we wanted. Brighton are now 6 points ahead of us... which means it looks like relegation will be between us, Watford and Bournemouth... so long as Norwich and Villa keep themselves in the bottom 2 places.

with the knowledge that Villa are still only a point behind us.

The NBCSN sports graphic shows out potential formation as 4-5-1 which seems exactly like the kind of dumb-ass stupidity we'd expect from someone like M*yes....
after all, if there's anyone who can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... it's certainly him.

teams heading out onto the pitch....

wow... offish comms states out line-up formation is 4-2-3-1 which is kinda 4-5-1 but seems no one thinks we'd ever dare to play anything to one up front.

wow... Antonio and Noble team up in the box for something that could almost be considered an attempt...

Noble fluffs it but sits on his butt begging for a penalty or something...

currently we're up a place in the table, leapfrogging Watford... but that just puts us level on points and ahead only on goal difference, so if we lose and they win... things get bleaker...

in the interests of fairness... we're playing with a bit more energy and vigor than the previous game.

    10 minutes gone.

and as I type that... Spuds score...

comms called it 'one of the ugliest goals you'll ever see' and they're not wrong.

Spuds corner... a bunch rise for a header contest, ball falls at Soucek's feet and ricochets off his leg into the far corner of the net leaving Fabianski stranded.

Oh jesus.. M*yes is gong to bring on Anderson to save the day...
