Robbie Keane and Jack Collison are set to hand West Ham a major injury boost by resuming full training this week.

Keane has been sidelined for a month after picking up a calf injury in just his second game for the club following his loan move from Tottenham back in January.

But the Republic of Ireland international has already resumed light training and hopes to join the rest of the first-team squad this week.

Collison has been sidelined for the last year with a knee injury, but has also stepped up his recovery and is set to finally resume full training in the next few days.

The news will come as a major boost to manager Avram Grant who is hoping to have a full squad to choose from as they look to move clear of the bottom three.

Looks like we are back to full strength for the run in , much needed as well . COYI

    Great news!

Collison and Keane will probably end up playing more games this season than Kieron Dyer. Says it all really doesn't it?

Its a shame about Dyer I could have been a superstar for us if it wasnt for his injury problems, but as a season ticket holder you see players week in week out, getting better or worse, inform out of form, but Dyer has never played successive games to have any form at all where as Collison was progressing & improving every game, lets hope this injury set back doesnt stop him becoming a great player for the club.

Seems to be the story of our life with injuries , there ain't a season goes by where we don't have half the squad out of action forceing managers to put square pegs in round holes , then again we do have a tendency to buy dodgy players and pay them top dollar .

Hi and welcome to the forum Andy.

I don't think Dyer will get his chance with us....he's out of contract at the end of the season and I can't see the club taking any more risks on him.
