Re: JK the birthday boy
Cheers G, although I'm already waving goodbye to the big 5 0 - 52 this year, God how I hate writing that!
I had plans to come over to Stockholm yesterday & see the Specials but left it too late to get a ticket & didn't fancy hanging around for returns - not at my age anyway- so missed the first gig I've fancied going to since moving here!

Re: JK the birthday boy
Cheers guys.
Gonna show off a bit here & boast that I saw them at Hamm Palais & Electric Ballroom back in early days of 2-Tone. I was a bit of a 2-Tone junkie back then seeing Madness a few times & the Beat at the Canning Town Bridge House - still wear my 2-Tone colours with pride!.8)
Spent the evening watching IFK Mariehamn struggle to get a 1-1 draw at Haka in the pissing rain on Canal+ Finland! Might take myself off to our sports bar for the 2nd half of the Stockholm derby - AIK-Djurgården. Couple of Ålanders in the Djurgården side I think.
Thanks again!

Nah, this was in a place called the Cirkus that I know nothing about. You're thinking of Globen. Never been there either but they use it for concerts, ice hockey, monster trucks & it's close to Hammarby's home ground!.
When I say you're thinking of Globen 3W, you've got it totally right as Globen translates as the Globe!.
