Seeing as Cesar took the place between the sticks in the draw this weekend against Cheats and looks to have cemented his future at QPR leaving poor Rob on the bench , would you have him back in January if we got the chance ?

Re: Would you have RG back
we'd be "cutting off our nose to spite our face" by not attempting it if you ask me. Sure h'ed make some sort of grovelling statement on the home page whilst hlding the #1 shirt. End of the day sometimes you try things in life and it doesn't w**k out. I lef tmy job for two weeks, hated the new job asnd was lucky enough that my old manager re-employed me.
IMHO

Yep, I'd have him back.
Everyone is allowed to make a mistake, we knew he’d made the wrong decision, we knew the grass is not always greener on the other side. He wanted a change of scenery and that’s what he got, looking at the match from the bench rather than the goal.

it would depend on what sort of contract he was after, if its for a fair price then yes, if he is after 60-70K a week then on ya bike

Re: Would you have RG back
He is head and shoulders above the two keepers we have now, but QPR are not going to let him go out on loan are they? If they let him go at all - which I doubt - they will want a fee. We (the fans) stood by him after his error in South Africa 2010 and I for one was very disappointed in him when he chose to leave for money reasons. He should never have left, but he has made his bed and now he has to lie in it. I have no sympathy for him whatsoever.

I think Mr Green would have to be very, very unhappy indeed to even think about trying to negotiate a comeback with our current management, they are hard people. Anyways, he'll be getting his money for doing sod all now, so that's a result for him, surely?

Re: Would you have RG back
The thread title was not wether we feel sorry for him (no one does) but was more a hypothetical opening as to whether we would/should have him back. Based on Tonys opinion that Green is better then our current two keepers then I think the answer should be a yes.

Re: Would you have RG back
Green is a better keeper than Jaaskelainen or Henderson, few would argue against that , but there's not a lot of point wistfully wondering if he might return to the fold.
JJ (I'm not spelling that lot again )hasn't looked particularly solid as yet, but I'm putting that down to unfamilarity with the players in front of him. The man is experienced, competent,a good shot-stopper and in decent shape, and I don't believe he will let us down. That said, at some point we will have to give Henderson a chance in the PL , if only to see if he has improved any and justified his signing. Not just yet though...

Based purely on his ability yes, based on the fact he fupped off to a bunch of no neck wnakers in QPR just for the dosh, nah fcuk him let him stew, and i hope he plays against us and we put 5 past him.

Re: Would you have RG back
What pisses me off here, is that the money people at QPR get to lure someone away to do a job, only to change their minds and lure away another to take his place a couple of weeks later, just because they can afford to.

are QPR that minted then? I can honestly see them wanting to get rid of Green come Jan, and i'd be surprised if they wanted much of a fee either...

It called,"doing a Portsmouth". Is Harry in charge of QPR transfers?

Actually that's "Doing a Portsmouth" Stage 1 - we all know what Stage 2 ends up in. I wouldn't like to see it happen to QPR as well, no club with some history and decent bunch of fans deserves it. I would like to see that oily spiv Fernandes lose a lot of money though...

Re: Would you have RG back
while i have no sympathy for him in his current situation i would have him back in a heartbeat he is a million miles better than what we have at the club and even if it means paying a couple of mill to get him back we should, imho of course.
