kerrist on a bike... even the development squad shipped two goals in the last ten minutes to lose today... good practice for anyone looking to step up to the first team.

Looks like Sahko is done for the season...

So up front it'll be Carlton Cole and anyone who doesn't split their sides laughing while watching him try to play football.

None of which makes this game any less likely for a good old fashioned thumping than the defending champions looking to bounce back from their own recent run of "poor" form.

The fact that it kicks off at 4:30am on sunday morning here means I ain't getting up to watch it live...

I'll still never bet against us - but a heavy loss would hardly surprise me.

4-0 to Citeh if we are lucky, don't we have any youngsters we could play up front?

Yep but Allardyce doesn't believe in ours - or any - youth system

This has to be the biggest home-win banker this week. I'll be content with anything better than losing 3-0. But.... you never know, "hope springs eternal within the human breast". Well, within this claret-and-blue breast anyway. scarf

well, with Stoke beating Soton this morning, we've dropped to 10th place, so anything less than a victory will mean we are one place down on last week...

With the form City are on and the form we are on their is only going to be one outcome and that is we are going to get hammered tomorrow by City , I just know we will but I`m hope I`m wrong

I cant see why Sam can`t give Nene a start upfront alongside Valencia because unless its just me but I think in the appearances Nene has made I think he has done well Tbh and what we got to lose by giving a go against a team that lets be honest we are not going to beat away

This surprises me, I thought the season was over?
Amalfitano should be playing instead of that cart horse Noble.
Still SAM tactic will no doubt insure we lose.

"Manchester City are ripping through West Ham time and again. If the away side aren't careful this could turn into a very heavy score line. City are moving the ball quickly across the visitors' defence before stepping up the tempo another notch with a killer ball. A win would take them seven points clear of Liverpool and that should secure them Champions League football."

You have to wonder just what has happened to West Ham this season? During the early months they were an exciting attacking side, giving some of the best in the division a decent game. In contrast, this is a timid, almost apathetic display from them littered with mis-placed passes and poor control.

We have no "legs" in midfield apart from Kouyate. Song is wasted (and a liability) in front of our back four. All to accommodate Noble. We have also reverted to a 4-5-1 with an isolated striker with Downing and Valencia asked to play wide. None of it works but the stubborn, hippo-headed dinosaur just won't budge

I don't know if it`s just me but in the last month or so it just seems to me that Sam knows the chances of him getting his contract renewed are very slim and that his attitude is to me that of someone who really doesn't care anymore etc and is just counting down the days until the summer now

Why would you leave players like Amalfitano on the bench and Nene - I mean why don't he give Valencia and Nene a go upfront together .. We never know they may form a decent partnership but oh no Sam cant have that , he must his Stamp on the team with the one upfront and lump it and hope for the best

I was gonna post yesterday that if we play Cole form the get-go then we'll lose. But I didn't want everyone thinking I was just recycling my posts of the last few years..

    But I was right.

We were shit. It wasn't all Cole's fault.

    Noble was shit.

    Song was awful

    The midfield non-existent

For all the people saying Sam has given up cos he's getting the spanish archer in a few weeks... I'll say the same as I do about players...

you ALWAYS have something to play for. If Sam could get this shower of shit playing like he did in the first half of the season... you know what... he'd had a nice fat contract on his desk just waiting to be signed.

But even his most staunch supporter isn't going to back him with piss-poor tactical displays like this.

And for anyone saying 'why should he bother if the decision's already been made' - because presumably the man who thinks he should be managing ManUre and/or England should go out on a high with his integrity and reputation intact - not on the back of five months of amateurish tactics and losing performances.

We should apply to the FA to have all our remaining games voided... we won't get relegated with our current points haul but there's honestly no point in us playing anyone, we're no heart, no soul and no fupping clue what were doing.
