Re: PL draw 2017/18
The announcement timeline will go something like this:
PL announce fixture lists for 2017/2018
Announcement +1 minute: Jose Mourinho announces there is no chance his team can win the league, not with their fixture pile up, the shade of green of the grass, the other teams having more money etc etc etc

First three away, but we knew this, too right it stinks .
First home game a month into the season, in the ongoing clusterfuck of a patched up athletics venue.

It will, because of the athletics calendar. I can't see how any season ticket holder could be happy.

Re: PL draw 2017/18
Most business is done last 2 days of the window, and this year won't be any different for most clubs. Waiting for the merry-go-round to stop and then grab an over-priced 6th choice. All we can expect for a team of our stature, that's the reality of football and West Ham (like many clubs)
The end of August is still a long, long way away. Meanwhile the media (term used loosely nowdays as it's anyone with a computer and access to the internet rumours) will continue to link every player with every club, whist every fan will blame their board for no ambition and rinsing the club for their own pocket (how dare they invest £150m + and expect something back!!!)
Then on September 1st, it all starts again.
