Good shout Bus Dude. Maybe they found out that he had been talking to Lids behind their backs and sacked him? Seems a bit crazy as they could (possibly) have received compensation for him

Re: Lee Clark sacked
Lee Clark took Huddersfield Town on a record breaking 43 games unbeaten until recently loosing their last 4 games.
They remain in 4th place in League One.
He also recently won a Manager of the Month award.................................there you go, curse of the MotM award strikes again.
Club Statement:-
"This was a very difficult decision; one not taken lightly or in response to one result. Concerns have been raised over recent weeks.
Lee and his coaching staff have put their all into the job over the past three seasons and he has made a huge contribution to the Club.
However with 16 matches to go we still have an opportunity to achieve promotion and we have made this change with this in mind."
Bizarre, quite bizarre. Something not right there

Re: Lee Clark sacked
Quite right too - should have given him the boot the minute they lost the unbeaten record.
