Whoever picked the squad and whoever was in it-English of course, would do well to get out that group. I don't see who or what could be different (across the millions of armchair selectors ) would make much difference. As far as I am aware no glaringly obvious world class player has not been picked.

We are our own worst enemies, I don't know if other countries slag off squad selection as much as us English. Our expectation is WAY too high and WAY too wayward. We have won one major trophy in a hundred years of football and that was 46 years ago, and we weren't expected to win it then! Reality says the odds are always against us. Yes we have arguably the strongest league in the world currently-because that's where the money is but we have less than 50% of home grown talent to choose from. Even that's not an excuse, we failed to qualify for a world cup for 12 years in the 70's

I see anything as a bonus.

There was a discussion at w**k on Friday regarding team selection and I over heard a bunch of Swedes whinging about how England think they have one the group even before a ball had been kicked .They have obviously been reading the shit the newspapers print and believe me the swedes have their fare share of bullshit red tops . They had a good moan about their team selection but of course Zlatan is the best thing since sliced bread which makes me cringe every time I hear that divas name , unless he has the ball passed to within 2 inches of his feet he goes off in a childish tantrum . We are not alone in moaning about our team selection peeps

I know I should not be thinking this but cannot help thinking my club is more important.
Just want to see Green piss off and we bring in players they will help us out next year.

I think we will be lucky to get through the first set of games. Anything more than that will be a bonus. Tough imho.
