Silly Season Summer 2012 - Page 23 Empty Ooooh interesting from the Moose....apparently Andy Carroll or Joselu

Post  Kray JR Wed 25 Jul 2012, 2:53 pm

Read from the bottom up Smile

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

It is Andy Carroll with Joselu the back up option

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

Ok I'll tell you seems as how someone else has let the cat out of the bag

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

It's not Bendtner or Defoe keep guessing

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

The fee will smash our record to smithereens and is a sign of intent from the West Ham board

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

It is not a done deal yet but David Gold and David Sullivan are doing absolutely everything to land this guy

This man is a striker,a current international, who played for his country this summer at Euro 2012- cant say who just yet but hopefully soon

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

West Ham rec signing is £7.5m Craig Bellamy

    Ian Abrahams‏@Moose_talkSPORT

West Ham aiming to make a massive signing - just checking if I can reveal who it is

Problem is - he talks total shite. Matt Taylor has been on his case for days on Twitter calling him out over dodgy rumours.

I just can't bring myself to take this seriously, so going by my normal track record in these matters it will happen.
Actually I'd prefer Joselu, less baggage and UK press hype, and according to Wiki last season scored 28 goals in 38 games. Still can't see the Daves having pockets that deep though....

If Andy Carroll does come I hope Carlton stays. They will be the football equivalent of Run DMC & Aerosmith.

We have been dying for a striker with that sort of record for years.....fingers crossed.

It seems the Daves do have the money and the cahunas to make that real big purchase.

We've never been able to deal with him. If we signed him he'd just keep scoring own goals, he couldn't help it.

From talking to a liverpoo mate who has been a long time season ticket holder at Annfield, we could do without Carroll, spends most of his time falling off of bar stools apparently, good player but suffers from the gazza, Hutchinson illness that seems to hit Geordies when they leave the North East! drinking smiley 1 Silly Season Summer 2012 - Page 23 1746495726 Silly Season Summer 2012 - Page 23 3777063607 Toilet

Falling off bar stools has been the trademark of many of this country's greatest players. Gazza, Greaves' Best and even Sir Bobby. As a big target Carroll would fit in great with Sam's philosophy not sure Cole would get a look in, far better player. Liverpoop ain't seen the best of him so refer to off field antics to deride the player. He has no future under Rodger, Pads ain't that bothered as he barely knew the player and also plays a different style. Can see Carroll in two sides-Stoke and ours.

I just dont want us to buy a pig in a poke for £15-£16m and find he spends more time in the priory than on the pitch. You're right he is finished at Liverpoo before he really got a chance, and I think it would be a mistake to go back to the barcodes, they play differently and he runs the risk of becoming a yesterday man. He could still be a great player, but the days of Gazza, Best and greavsie n co (Dont count Sir Bobby, by all accounts he liked a drink, but have never heard anywhere that he had a problem with it) are gone, club owners will not pay £50k+ a week to a piss head who lets them down.

He is only 23 and could be a great player, would be nice if it was with us, but only if he has the right approach, BFS wont put up with less than 100%.

rumour has it that it is not Caroll
and that their is some serious investment coming in from another source

thought it sounded a bit far fetched that the Daves would cough up that sort of cash

Just heard it from BBC R5 that we have indeed offered a loan deal with option to buy for Carroll, but that he "does not see West Ham as a serious option". Well, fairynuff, I don't see you as serious option you ugly pisshead, you can fupp off back to Tyneside and drink your career away.
Now let's get on with signing that spanish lad from Real Madrid, please.

I'd have him in a heartbeat. Likewise I don't blame the reported quote as us not being a serious option-why should a misfiring club, newly promoted inspire an England international who is young and ambitious and also has the in built belief (of any professional sportsman) that they are able to achieve the best.

And we are jumping tne gun at believing any, some or all of this is true. Just chill!

The Beeb isn't noted for reporting dodgy stuff, though, JDLK. Although, come to think of it, I do recall them announcing that Uncle Avram was getting the sack after a certain match and then finding he was still there next day.......

The internet led media reports-especially those of Ben Smiths are almost always the same supposition as the rest of us make. His only source is public domain. Speculation with little fabric.
