Seems good business sense to me-they know that the ground will be full for most of the season as die-hards wont want to miss out on a season in the Prem, plastics will, I nearly said flock-more like dribble.

Got to make the most of it whilst they can!

Surprised Bernie hasn't got them playing in Malaysia, China and Dubai with his F1 contacts. Could be the way forward for little clubs to cash in. Sod the loyal and local fanbase-I mean, Man U supporters travel hundreds of miles every week to see their team; unless they are away to Chelsea!!

Bernie is very much a silent partner in QPR. The people with the real power at QPR are the Mittal family, ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) Nothing will happen without their say so. They will also block anything they don't like. They have already hinted about taking over QPR completely and will eventually do so, whether Bernie likes it or not. Yes, they have that much money and power. QPR could, if they wanted, take on Citeh in the transfer market and win. However, they are also sound business people and realise that that will cause more problems than it would solve. They will be quite happy to finish 16th next season, 11th the season after and 6th the season after that. They will invest as long as they are seeing an improvement. Colin will be safe as long as he can improve from season to season. As soon as he starts to struggle or they think he's out of his depth, (that'll be Christmas then), they will fire him and bring in someone better, quickly.

Beware QPR, Premier League, they are here for the long term. Teams like Wigan, Baggies, Blackburn, Bolton and Stoke really need to sit up and take notice. If they don't, they will pay for it.
