Spuds...

I know i don't really care about any team but us... but I oerslept and so missed the QPR game... which means the Tottscum/Monaco friendly is all that's on TV here footie-wise...

Boy... do the Spuds look woeful without Bale... 15 minutes to go and they're down 5-1.

I know it's only a friendly and I know friendlies don't matter... but ... boy... they better hope their new signing is good cos they're gonna be a one man team like they were last season.

maybe so... but buying anyone this close to the start of the season doesn't really help... it's too late to get someone to gel with the rest of the team in two weeks, especially if they come from overseas...

plus the Spuds go to Swansea first up... and the swans are looking pretty decent with Michu and Bony in the team...

Could be another dodgy start for the White Hart Lane boys... then watch the panic set in...

Could be a good season for any non spuds out there!

£85m is fupp all; loads of clubs have spent that and got nothing. Then you have to look at the demoralising effect on the rest of the squad, knowing that the monkey who carried them has swung off to higher trees. Then they look around the changing room and see that Bale has gone, but Adebayor is dozing quietly on his money-stuffed mattress and Lennon is out practising putting crosses into row Z and they're both probably wearing woolly gloves in August and they quietly text their agents saying "I'm a Yid, get me out of here...."

 

I watched that game, it was jolly entertaining  

I thought it was strange how redknapp was directly quoted as saying he couldn't see any point in loaning players out...then QPR loan out remy and therat
