I wasn't sure whether to put this in Fancy A Larf, but as it is more in the way of a public information announcement this section is probably more appropriate.

Gentlemen!
   If, like me, you are unfortunate enough to need a surgical repair for an inguinial hernia ( that's the common-or-garden one in the groin) then don't be too concerned, it's a straightforward but somewhat uncomfortable procedure. What the doctors and nurses will NOT tell you, however, is that a couple of days after surgery as the bruising comes out, your todger may overnight turn bright purple (with fetching yellow highlights).
  Just thought I might spare others the consternation of discovering this without adequate fore-warning 

just ask the doc to take away the pain but leave the swelling , the mrs will be happy

I did consider for a moment that it would make a startlingly original new avatar, but I thought better of it.

Anyway, gentlemen, if you ever have to have the op, forewarned is forearmed. Let me tell you , there is considerable psychological trauma when an old friend suddenly resembles an alien life-form  

chuck a bandage on it, make sure its at high tide.

I've already had one embarassing op in that region this year, thank you very much.  Don't need another. 

In case some of you are wondering - I've gone Jewish!  Sore, bloody & swollen - & for about a month it felt like I was going around with my todger hanging out.  Psychologically scarring.

On the plus side I got a week off work!


Been Jewish for years after some dick I was chasing shut a garden gate on me todger , got him back though , stuck a stick in his front wheel one day

Other plus points-
- you can tell the missus you're not allowed to do any work on Saturdays
- the chicken soup is really good

Minus points-
- no more pork scratchings
- your eyes automatically look for Spurs in the league tables
