No Kouyate or Zarate in the squad today - Hopefully both will be back in the squad for the weekend !
Good to sea Payet starting tonight

I`ll be happy with just a Point tonight as can see Bournemouth scoring today and making life very hard for us and I believe that should we draw or win tonight we will equal our club record of 9 games unbeaten !

Give the ball away in midfield long range shot and a fupp up by Adrian.

    Hahaha .... Have fun Rich.

I have to admit I didn't see that win coming when we were 0-1.  Strange game I thought, a bit like a stroll about in the first half with three excellent goals in the second.  Well done   Bournemouth v West ham 1343512671

Didn't see that coming after that first half.

I still couldn't relax even at 3-1 lol.

I'll still find faults even in a victory though Smile

I was losing my head at times when we were behind, I just wanted us to keep the ball. There was one point in the second half where Ogbonna, who scared the fupp out of me everytime the ball went near him, passed the ball back to Adrian, Collins pulled out wide for him but he ignored him and smashed it half way up the pitch straight to a Bournemouth player.

Adrian recovered well after the goal.
The back 4 apart from Ogbonna looked pretty comfortable, I thought Tomkins coped well for the majority of the game with Stanislas.
Noble caused us problems giving the ball away at times, Obiaang looked solid, Valencia, Antonio and Payet after a frustrating first half grew as the game went on.
Carroll looked lively until the injury, replaced by Jelavic who I can't really recall touching the ball that match.

Fair play to Slav I was worried when he bought Jenkinson on and then again when I'm thinking we want to hold on for 3 points he brings Song on.

very good and comfortable first ten minutes... not sure what the catalyst for it all going pear shaped was... Carroll going off injured of Adrian apparently not saving a goal.

anyways... it then looked decidedly dodgy as the Cherries could have put us away if they'd been a bit sharper in front of goal.

but then we have that bloke Payet... fortunately we'd managed to hold on for a respectable number of draws while he was out injured... which could easily have seen us slump all the way down the table... but we hung in there and Payet is back...

And he's a game changer - to quote one of footie's frequently bandied epithets...

    And he changed this game.

    A sublime free kick

A piece of sublime skill out on the wing to cut inside and feed Valencia who, unmarked, rammed in a side foot shot.

and then Valencia stepped up and put away a free kick that was even sublimier than Payet's.

And there you have it... we looked to be heading nowhere and then turned the game around to head home with three goals, three points and up to 5th place in the table.

The only thing adding to the gorgeousness of tonight's result was the two other games... the Toon (our next, and going-to-be-very-tricky-opponents) held ManUre to a 3-3 and lowly Villa managed to beat Palarse.

    Nicely done boys... nicely done.

The only grey cloud is how serious might be Carroll's injury... but we look decent without him and still have Sahko and Lansing to come back... so all is not lost... not by a long way.
