If you haven't got them playing an offside game within a month, I'd be very disappointed.
Seriously though when I trained my son's team when they were 7 the most difficult thing was getting them to concentrate & not run off & do other things. One kid used to disappear & you'd find him climbing something, somewhere! Plus at that age you get all the glory seekers, whose parents know nothing about the game (& I mean absolutely nothing in some cases over here!) & think their kids are the next Ronaldo.
Short sessions & variety, I'd recommend.
Much prefer to train with older lads myself. I helped out with my son's team the other week as all the proper coaches were unavailable. Expected the worse but they were great, as they are all serious about their game now. No time wasters!
Good luck mate!
