Good to see Amalfitano Score again - His 4th of the season
Just a question about Amalfitano - He is out of contract in the Summer do you think he has done enough to earn himself a new contract with us ?!? I personally think he should be offered a new contract

Yes, I think he should be bought, a good backup. I would rather him in the team right now than Nolan, Noble.

Re: West Ham United FC V Hull
totally different game from the first half...
actually not regretting getting up at 5:30 on a sunday morning.
Yes,
I think Amalfitano should stay with us... which leads to an interesting thought...
We're off to a big whiney new stadium next season... we're playing well this term (well... sometimes, but we're doing better than usual) but...
Reid is strongly linked with a movie elsewhere
Jenkinson is a loanee and could go home at season's end
Song is a loanee who could leave
RvT has already gone (not that anyone cares)
Amalfitano is out of contract in a few months too
Zarate has gone and probably won't come back
So... that is a sizable chunk of our team that might not be there any more...
I feel we really need to keep hold of Song and Jenkinson and amalfitano
Gonna be interesting to see who runs out onto the park on that first day of next season...

I suspect we will do whatever is necessary to keep those and sign them onto our books. Would like to keep Reid too actually.

Re: West Ham United FC V Hull
we sat back a it but the last five mins of so have been non-stop west ham pressure... Nolan scraped the crossbar
Looks like we've ended our 'taking the lead and giving the game away' practice of 2015

Different formation in the second half (the one that worked well at the start of the season)
and bugger me a different perfomance, surly Sam can see that the diamond midfield is the way to go

RichB wrote:Looking forward to this one... I reckon we'll be spurred on by the FA cup win and get a 3:0 win. Amalfitano to come on in the last 20 mins. and grab the 3rd.
Is it the done thing to quote one's own posts? Not often I call it right but apart from Amalfitano's goal being the 2nd not the 3rd I was spot on! Great win...
Now we need City to grab 3 against the Arse to bump us up another place and rein in Chelsea a tad.

Got some tuff games coming up with Man U , liverpool and the Squids , so those three pints today were very much needed . Six points out of those games and I,ll be a happy Geezer

Anyway, if we start with Nolan in the next matches, we will not be able to get any points imo..

Nolan was better than Noble today. Either way it has to be one or the other, not both
