West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has revealed Diafra Sakho will be available for West Ham's trip to Liverpool this weekend, as long as he recovers from a slight groin injury.
The striker was arrested last weekend on suspicion of 'making threats to kill and witness intimidation'. He has since been questioned by police and bailed without charge.
Senegal international Sakho, who has denied any allegations against him, will continue to be selected by Bilic despite the incident and the only thing which may prevent him from turning out at Anfield is his fitness.

The 25-year-old should train on Friday ahead of the match, in which the Upton Park side will look to bounce back from Premier League defeats to Leicester and Bournemouth.
Bilic said: "We are hoping Diafra will be available for Saturday. He's felt a little stiffness in his groin but it is not major. We expect him to train on Friday.
"For Saturday, up front we have a few injuries and we have very limited options. It looks like Sakho is going to be okay for Liverpool."

Said it before the Arse game so I'll say it again and hope that the spell still works -

"I'll be amazed if we get anything from this. I'll be amazed if we keep a clean sheet. All I'm hoping is that we don't go down by an embarrassing score-line."

    - there, that should do it.

But I think not. Never mind - COYI!!

We are doomed, in four visits to Annfield to watch us play I've seen us score one goal and concede 12, I think we'll get done over again to the tune of 3-0 :-(

I'm expecting a good half to get our hopes up with a couple of missed chances only to lose 3-0 with them only having 3 shots on goal.

Either that or we will nick a win leaving all non hammers asking what we were moaning about last week. Liverpool v West Ham United FC 780148547

Has any other football club got such a dismal away record against one team?

One Liverpool forum are discussing dropping Gomez due to yellow cards and avoiding a suspension against Manc united. Also dropping Benteke to give Ings his first start.  Feeling very optimistic aint they.

I hate this fixture and will be glad when it's over............

for anyone not watching this game...

it's pretty much been downhill all the way...

we started out ok... 1 shot on target... 1 goal

by the end of the half it was a completely different story...

we're now down to 3 shots on target and only 2 goals.

Step it up in the second half boys!!!!!!!

it got worse in the 2nd half Jiggs...

by the end our shots on target to goals scored had dipped to barely 30% - 8 shots... 3 goals...

but on a brighter note we continued to enhance our reputation as the thugs of the premier league with another red card

I honestly don't know how they do it...

I just don't understand how you can play so poorly against Leicester and Bournemouth and then turn in a display like this.

    Lanzini was great

    Poyet was excellent

Noble actually played well and looked like a decent midfield player (despite the sending off)

Sakho managed to get through an entire game without threatening to kill anyone - and finally found the back of the net again

The defense looked solid - we actually don't need Jenkinson or a right back if this is how we play with Tomkins on the right. True, my bug-bear about leaving wide open opportunities on the left was still very evident.

Randolph had nothing to do all game

Totally solid and dominating performance in all departments.

We destroyed Liverpool last season and that spurred us onto being fourth by the end of the year... could this be the same this time.

If we can play like this then there's pretty much nothing we can't do.

The big problem is the same as it ever was...

how do the same - or pretty much the same - eleven players play so well one week and so pants the next week?

But today was a good day Liverpool v West Ham United FC 1626210847

Well I cant complain about any of the team today they done a great job closing down the Poo through out the game , the only complaint I have is against that dick head ref giving Nobes a red when he clearly got a foot to the ball and after him blowing up for a West Ham free kick . Well done West ham .

Stuck to our game plan.  We kept position, passed well and defended two on one.  If we'd have had more shots on goal we could have scored more, but 3 is enough when you defend like we did.  I don't think Randolph had to make one save, thanks to our defence.
