well fortunately Newcastle didn't win...
so we're 11th in the table behind Watford on goal difference and 2 points behind Everton in 9th
we're also only 3 points above the relegation zone, that's right, 3 points is the spread from 11th to 17th
now, if by some quirk of fate, Southampton are to beat the Spuds tomorrow... that would put them on 24 points... which would mean we'd only be 3 points from actually being IN the relegation zone...
so you see how important goal difference becomes and how crucial the difference between 1 point and 3 points is and will be for the remainder of the season
of course, there's no way Soton will win tomorrow... is there?
but we really do need to be beating teams like Bournemouth... especially because they're right around us in the table...
