it drops invitingly just inches ahead of a couple of outstretched feet...

here's an example of how we play...

Noble gets the ball in midfield... plays a high looping ball into the area... poor ball... way too high and almost just straight out of play...

Chicharito jumps, foot up and manages to bring it down... but he's out of position running away from goal...

so he plays it out to Cresswell who is running down the wing...

so what does Chicharito do? does he run into the box to receive the ball? no. He just wanders away from the area.

So what does Cresswell do? does he run towards goal... does he look for a West Ham player? no. he just smashes the ball way over the penalty area towards where NO ONE is at all...

Kouyate is down again... getting the 'watch this finger' treatment... he's run his socks off tonight

West Ham get a throw...

Kayoute is off the pitch waiting to come back on... he ignores Noble's hand as he walks past...

holy Shit... Swansea are 3-1 up against Arsenal!!!

Swansea are now out of the bottom 3 and only 4 points behind us if everything stays the same...

we really should be winning this... not because we look like we should... but because we're the home side and Palace as plucky as they are, aren't really that good.

people will crow that we're 6 games without a loss and the comms are probably right that the manager's will be figuring 38 posts will be enough to stay up...

but all of that just highlights how poor we are... not how well we're doing.

points shared = points given away... could have gone 4 points clear of Palace... but that would require an effort we seem incapable or unwilling to make.

I know we have a horrendous injury list... but we're just not very good.
