I'm raising money for Macmillan

In memory of my mum, who most of you will know we lost to cancer last May, I’ve signed up to do the Thames Path Challenge – a 50k walk from Putney to Runnymede – in September to raise money for Macmillan.

I just got the email and logged on to say thankyou! finding it surprisingly hard to raise money for charity given the present economic climate. I was going to hike up Kilimanjaro but raising £5000 seemed daunting. Glad I settled on Ben Nevis lol. But cant blame people, everyone is much harder up these days. Still give £2 a month to NSPCC and £5 a month wage giving to meningitis as George survived that as a 10 month old. Other then that I dont give half as much as I used to

Everyone has their own personal reasons for donating to particular charities/causes but, no matter how big or small each person's contribution is, it all helps.
