Your name for the new stadium!

More as a bit of fun and knowing us West Ham fans can come up with some great one-liners I wondered what the best name for the the new stadium is?

Arsenal's Addison Grove became The Emirates but you just know we'll get hooked up with some two-bob outfit and it'll be the SOBBET Stadiualternativelyly we could follow Sunderland's route and name it ourselves, what about "The Stadium of Iron" but yo just know that would turn to rust...

Any good ideas?

Yes it is mentioned in one of the press releases that West Ham are now looking towards sponsors who will get naming rights and also approaching the IOC to ask if the word Olympic can be used. So what do you think?

With what I know about those shitheads at the IOC, they would want to either limit the naming rights to long-term current sponsors of the Olympics, or ban commercialization altogether.

In the absence of sponsoring, Sir Robert Moore stadium - nicknamed 'The Roundtable'

knowing us it will end up called the durex stadium.

As much as I greatly respect Sir Bobby Moore, I'm not in favour of naming a stadium after a player (a stand is fine)

Calling it anything other then Upton Park/ The Boleyn ground will be strange. Don't really want to call it the OS either.

Seeing as we already play at the Boleyn Ground, and she was a Queen, I think we should go for the Queen Elizabeth Stadium and see if we can get sponsored by the Royal Family. Poor old Liz must be pig sick of the mess that Fernandes has made of her Park Rangers, she's probably up for a change of club.
