Sorry but young Jack needs to be reined in although I think it's his Dad telling him what to put. It can't be doing our credibility any good.

There's absolutely no way the lad is sending out anything without his dad's say-so. It's a useful tool for sending out info/rumours/ smokescreens/encouragement for the punters when it suits the club but they don't want anything attributable.

So today is the day we should find out who this young right sided striker is that is going to sign for us if we go by what young Jack tweeted the other day Very Happy

Hopefully not to young as we need strikers now not just for the future !

I 'am surprised that we haven't tried to get that John guidetti on loan from Man City - Only 21 and is quite tall so would suit Big Sam`s style and he can score goals and it`s not like City are going to need him this year with the strikers they have in their team confu

Good shout Tony, no idea who this bloke is, and i know you cant go by youtube vids but if he is half as good as he is in this
looks like he is made to work in a big sam side, he would work well off Carroll and Nolan

Not watched the video but I will say this-22 is hardly 'wonderkid' age, secondly a goal to games ratio of 1:5 is hardly wonder-anything standard.

Summer 2013 silly season - Page 6 Empty Ilombe Mboyo

Post  Stooby Doo 2002 Sun 04 Aug 2013, 9:07 pm

Jack Sullivan has asked people following his twitter how we would feel if we signed Ilombe Mboyo.......He played a part in a gang rape of a 14 year old when he was 16 and went to prison........Are the club really serious about looking into a gang rapist? I know it's silly season and Sam wants an attacking player but I want someone to attack the ball not the match mascot!!!!!!!

Please Messrs Gold and Sullivan if you read this I do not want someone who was jailed for child rape at a 'family' orientated club!!!!

How would you feel if we signed Mboyo of Gent ? Terrible crime when he was 16, can he ever be forgiven ?
    What do you think ?

Harsh. He is not a striker is he? He is a winger whose 1:5 ratio pisses all over Carlton Cole's and he IS supposed to be a striker

I don't think so. He is only 29. Did really well at Villa but I think the price tag (c£20m) to Liverpool weighed heavy on him as it did AC

The alternatives out wide for us right now are RVT, Joe Cole or Jack Collison. None of which are wingers IMO

2nd half of last season he was not bad, if we shift Taylor and bring in Downing that has to be classed as an upgrade

I don't understand why we would want Downing in the first place as we have Jarvis who plays on the left which the same side as what downing plays and I would much rather have Jarvis over Downing any day !
