Ah but a sceptic, like me, or an agent will read that as everybody has their price.

And to say we are no longer a selling club is pretty much unrealistic-everyone is a selling club. The only reason we can say we are is there is nobody worth selling really!! As in no-one other than a similar club will want our players.

He does talk the talk and say the right things though-and I don't believe the club could be in better hands.

14.4 million bid turned down for negredo apparently. Could be a ploy to get Carroll to sign as has been mentioned scarf

Would love to see Demba Ba back at West ham on loan or on a permentant deal him alongside or just behind Carroll would be a very good strike force to have in this league ,
And the fact Mourinho as said that Ba can leave means i feel we have a very good chance to signing him imo

Doubt if Lukaku would be included in 25 man squad-he has only just turned 20. Bloody hacks.

    I doubt either really.

Chelsea would want Ba's wages covered in full and Ba would want to play. Unless Sam sticks him on the right wing-he won't get games and Sam ain't going to change his system.

Lukaku, Chelsea want him playing week in, week out at a good level (Prem or equivalent abroad). So, the above applies-if Chelsea and the player are happy to be played on the right wing; we might have a shout.

Both players, and the loaning clubs expectations, are rightly not interested in being a Plan B, or second fiddle.

If we nicking players from Chelsea, I'd rather Essien to fill that vital holding position.

West Ham could be set to offer ex-Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap a Premier League lifeline, SportsDirect News understands.
The Hammers secured record signing Andy Carroll from Liverpool in a £15 million deal on Wednesday and despite the presence of Matt Jarvis and Kevin Nolan, manager Sam Allardyce believes Delap and his renowned 'javelin-style' long-throws could help Carroll terrify defences next season.
The 36-year-old was released by Stoke at the end of the last campaign  but spent the first-half of this year loaned to Championship side Barnsley.
He impressed during that period and made it clear he wanted to make the move permanent. However, should West Ham make a formal approach, it is likely that the once Southampton man would opt for London.
A source close to Stoke told SportsDirect News: "West Ham have made an initial enquiry but so far that's all there is to it. Rory is no longer a 90-minute player in Premier League terms but he would fit into Sam's style of play and could have a big impact when West Ham are chasing a goal."

Got to be lazy hack talk. Our supposed physical style, and a direct approach means any Pulis cast off is heading our way. No better certainly than Joey or Dribble-far from it and other than RB with a throw-in option at the goal area; I can'tee him having the game to be att. wing man!

Still, keeps us angry and busy discussing it!!!

Don't know if Milner is what we need unless we need a winger who cannot get past people, cannot run and is built like a brick shit-house?

Actually the last bit may appeal to Sam. Unless we are sticking him in the middle as DM-Paul Scholes taught him to tackle thiough...

    Jefferson Montero
fast , nippy and can beat a player
but when it comes to the final ball is as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition
