Maiga is a static tree and as usual Noble simply "cannot" play a simple first time ball and move into space to receive it back so the opposition have plenty of time to get everyone behind the ball
We are creating very little but look solid in the main. Acceptable away from home but will be a worrying recurrence at home

It entirely depends who the one striker is Stoobs. Andy Carroll as the one striker makes us a much more potent force and not dull at all. With a disinterested, weak slug like Maiga then I would tend to agree with you!Stooby Doo 2002 wrote:I can't believe how dull we look with one striker up front...........It is borderline embarrassing!!! I can't wait for the day when we have some 5'10 speedy players up front where we play it to feet rather than lump it up to the big man........We looked so much more dangerous with Ashton, Bellamy and even Diamanti in the team than we do with a single target man!
