Re: Burnley V West Ham United FC
Our under 21's are well out of their depth for this game....Tomkins, Ruddock, Chambers and Potts in defence......Can see this being an exit....Burnley are pretty much camped in our half....As soon as we get the ball we just hoof it back to them! Don't think we have had a shot on goal all half!

Absolutely woeful first half. Passing terrible. Retention of the ball terrible. No corners. No chances. No shots on target. Frankly embarrassing
Collison on for (the completely disinterested) Diame at half time

Much better second half. BFS must have given them a bollocking. Completely different attitude second 45 mins. Our Premiership class and fitness shone through. Some positive substitutions - especially taking Tomkins off for Nolan !
Joe Cole got 90 mins. Jussi, Demel, Ravel, Reid and Noble got a well-earned rest ready for Saturday. Jarvis not even on the bench

Definitely a game of two halves Stoobs. We were the better side second half. Much more positive and a lot more energyStooby Doo 2002 wrote:Our under 21's are well out of their depth for this game....Tomkins, Ruddock, Chambers and Potts in defence......Can see this being an exit....Burnley are pretty much camped in our half....As soon as we get the ball we just hoof it back to them! Re: Burnley V West Ham United FC
that was definitely on course for a tonking upset after the 1st half but fair play big sam for sorting it out, looked much much better 2nd half, job done, some experience for a few of our pups and a well earned rest for other senior bods probably get drawn at the bridge next.
