Joe Cole coming on in place of Diame who doesn't look happy at being subbed...
There's far worse players than Diame still out on the park... not sure I agree with this...

So just got in from an after work beer with my son and we're 2:1 up (saw that on my phone) but why is Winston Reid not on the bench? Didn't realise he was injured. Sounds like a bit of a scrappy game. Still a win's a win...

More from Phil Brown BBC "The frustrations of the West Ham fans are there again, the fans must expect with a numerical advantage that they would be putting more pressure on Hull. Hull have just passed the ball ten times there without coming out of their own half and there was no pressure from West Ham. They should be doing more in this game."

Dont think either side has kept the ball very well. We are so predictable, ball after ball of aimless floated balls forward that come to nothing.

    Job done?.

All that can be really said about that game

The most important thing to me is we staying a premier league side and get our debts paid off/ stay a prem league side up to the point we move into the OS. That's when I hope of better things to come.

Commentators on BBC5 radio are bemused that the home fans have booed their team off the pitch. They're saying the fans have to play their part and get behind the team. In fact they made it harder for the players by booing them at half time and booing them more at full time. Remember these are natural guys with no allegiance saying this. Sadly it's been like this for 10 years, booing Boa Morte, booing Harewood and others. There's an unpleasant bone headed element at Upton Park these days and it's little wonder that some players don't' want to come to play there.

Did not go to the game due to getting home late.

Mrs Ham was checking the PC and would not let me see due to her thinking me a jinx.

From what I've heard the only thing you can say is we won.

Should have done better against 10 man Hull.

Just watched the highlights, sorry, lowlights on sky,
Yes we have 3 more precious points but We were out played by 10 man Hull, same problems with lack of pace, movement any creative flair and  If we were a team who actually played intelligently through midfield and manoeuvred the other team around with confident passing, an opposition down to ten men would be a comfortable prospect, but when your manager is obsessed with launched diagonals and crosses regardless of who's in the box, you end up relying on an own goal and clinging on at the death and to top it all, Fat Sam in his post match interview on sky now added blaming our fans as well as every other excuse in the book he has previously used for his sides poor performances.
Our end product, ie, the way the team plays and represent us the fans is not worth the entrance fee and is not premiere league football which the fans are being charged for and the Upton Park faithful have a right to voice their displeasure at the average joes playing Fat Shams obsolete brand of football  and I just pray that him and his condescending arrogant attitude, his complete lack of class on and off the pitch and his pre historic management style and take on the game won't be with us next season !!

It was indeed a turgid pile of shite...

But very few 'fans' got behind the team and the booing at half and full time was disgraceful.

Got to agree however most fans are getting very frustrated in the way we play.

I did not go yesterday but others are paying good money to watch below average player playing in the premier league using poor coaching tactics.

Sam plays the percentage game and relies on a lot of luck. It might be OK to get points from the lower league teams however it is difficult to match the middle and way off course when we play the top.

Got to agree with HH and would like to see a new manager in the summer that can bring in at least 6 better players and get rid of 6 deadwood players.

If you were a middle of the road premiership team asks yourselves the question of how many West Ham players you would take to improve your team. I would only take two, Carroll and Reid.

Sadly, HH, there is a need according to the men in charge.
If you've forked out fifty quid or so and watched crap, in some ways I can understand the booing, even though I'm ashamed of it. Trouble is , those that have paid through the nose to watch think they have paid for some sort of say in how their club should play, but they are deluding themselves. Gate receipts are not the biggest income, Murdoch's money is. And how much of Murdoch's money you get depends on staying in the Prem and where you finish, even if you play cynical, boring, percentage football. In fact, if you haven't got megabucks to chuck around that's the safest and most cost-effective way to play, which is why we have BFS at the helm, why Pulis lasted so long at Stoke. To be fair to BFS , he's not proved as bad as I expected, and he's entitled to say that a mid-table position is an achievement with the hand he's been dealt. Gold and Sully don't give a shit how we play as long as we get points, and BFS don't give a shit what the support thinks as long as the Daves are happy.
Roll on the OS, roll on FFP, maybe things will get better but it's going to be a long and mostly joyless slog for a long time yet.
