TEAM NEWS
Hull are still without Martyn Waghorn (hamstring) and will assess striker Aaron Mclean (calf) and goalkeeper Adriano Basso (knee) ahead of the game.
Basso was taken off during the midweek defeat against Barnsley and his injury could mean a first start since August for Peter Gulacsi.
West Ham are still without a number of key players.
Winston Reid, John Carew, Matt Taylor, David Bentley and Henri Lansbury are among those currently sidelined.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• Hull have a 25% winning return against West Ham, having prevailed in nine of their 36 league meetings. The Hammers have won 13, with 14 drawn.
• This is their first clash since both were in the Premier League in 2009/10. West Ham scored three goals in each of the last two meetings.

• Nigel Pearson's side are challenging for a fifth successive home league win, which was last achieved on New Year's Day 2005.
• The Tigers have scored 14 league goals, fewer than any Championship club outside of the relegation zone.
West Ham United
• West Ham retained their top two placing, despite being held to a goalless draw on Tuesday by a lowly Bristol City side under new management.
• Sam Allardyce's side are yet to beat a top seven club.
• The Hammers need to score three times to total 2,000 league goals away from home.
