No one did well last year except for a couple games against Spurs... it was a pretty shit season all round and I hardly think our stand-in strikers did anything...

in fact, the game we played best in was where we ditched strikers completely if memory serves...

If his ineptitude in the air, failure to keep possession and inability to stay onside against Schalke is anything to go by then gawd help us

Have to agree as a player, pretty pants
as a bloke I think he is top notch, always comes across as a thoroughly decent lad

  At his best, he managed to get into the Eng-er-land team, but that was a long time ago. Never really a top premiership striker, he has been a great servant to the club and is a quality person. We need better players than he currently is now.

He might be crap but he's still our highest goalscorer at premier league level even scoring more than PDC..........Just saying like

I thought I read he was about 6 goals shy of PDCs final total. which will take Cole about 6 more years to equal that record then   


As everyone said a nice guy, ok in his pomp (when zola was training him on how to score), a championship quality player now. I'm sure if I was, say, a WBA fan i wouldn't worry too much seeing a west ham team with Cole up top....
