It is of course the loss of a decent terrace song - sex & drugs & Carlton Cole, but there must be one out there for this Rat fellow to replace it!

I am sorry to see him go but I do understand why.

A nice bloke who did his best for us but never reached his potential ( probably because he was a nice bloke). I fully expect to see him in the Prem next season if only as someone else's Plan B, but it would be a sickener if he suddenly remembered how to score goals.

He had it all, almost showed when Zola was here, but never had the hard nose that is required to be a really top striker, to nice for his own good. a good servant to the club, I hope the fans cheer him when he next plays against us (maybe for Watford if they come up).

Watford or Palace would be a good shout for him
