Carroll chases the ball all the way to the line... sneaks in a cross that goes all the way across the goal to where Sakho leaps and heads into the corner of the net...

Hope fully it's all we need.

    less than ten to go...

Nolan finally comes off (keeping him safe for that big money move) and is replaced by Demel

    3 minutes plus stoppage time

Another one we got away with , Nolan and Song should be utterly ashamed of their efforts

Liverpool next and we need to up our game multiple levels in order to get anything

Also expect the Senegal FA to kick off proper over Sakho playing today

Let's hope their game at Chelsea on Tuesday goes to extra time and penalties and they pick up a few injuries

I think the time has (just) past when players deemed injured for their AFCON squads are eligible to play for their clubs. Sakho miraculously fit. Coincidence? I will let you decide

His salmon-like leap for that far post headed goal shows just how well our medical team have strengthened his poorly back.

BFS has got to get his head out of his arse over Nolan, a complete waste of space again. Noble little better and Song was dreadful as well. Amalfitano must wonder what he has to do to start a game.

If we start like today against Liverpool, even if they are taken to penalties by the Cheats, we will get destroyed in the first 20 mins. Second half was a better performance but we were so lucky in the first half could have been buried.

Like the Hull game last week a terrible start, we were dominated in Midfield and as I previously said with Noble and Nolan starting in midfield we are lightweight, vulnerable and teams will think they can get about us and beat us and we could easily have been two down.
Song had his worst game for us, must still be shaking off the last of his Ebola from his jaunt to The Africa Cup, Valencia also below par.

Better second half, substitutions changed the game lets hope  Sakho with his eye for goal and  "Crossed Irons" celebration stays fit, keeps banging them in and becomes a West Ham Ledge !

Noble and Nolan got shown up by League 1 opposition, says it all really. I know BFS is a great one for loyalty, and it's a rare thing nowadays, but the situation is getting silly. I'm sure the pair of them want to be running out on to the OS pitch in 2016, but they'd better start accepting that it might not happen. What matters is not what you did in the past, it's what you are capable of doing now.
Song's performance was a real shocker- he looked like he really didn't want to be there and I don't understand why BFS kept him on for so long. Dunno whether he was ill, injured or just tired, but I don't want to see him play like that again.

I am sure Noble will have a place on the pitch at the OS. Probably as ball boy or a turf prodder at half time.

Song, Nolan and Noble cant play in the same team together, recent games have shown it just does not work. All three were poor yesterday.

Nobody was covering anyone in the first half on Sunday ! It was a shambles. Song was probably the worst player out there, closely followed by Valencia
