Cant wait for the season to start.

We re-signed 15 of our squad that done so well last season.

Already seen a few pre-season friendlies winning at 5-0 at Halstead, Drawing 0-0 with Southends U21's, beating our neighbours Canvey 3-2, Losing 2-0 to Dagenham & Redbridge and beating a young Millwall side 3-0


Ive seen a play off final win, a league cup final win and an Essex Senior Cup final win in the last two seasons wouldn't mind making the first round of the FA Cup this season            

As a non-league fan getting into the FA cup against league oppo is special, If you get a chance of an away day its well worth it

Got the best possible draw last season in the last qualifying round away at Barnet.

Ruined by the fact that they were a bunch of wankers, only opened one turnstile, only a couple of staff behind one bar and didn't open the stand behind the goal, we were just stuck in one corner out of the way.

Oh and Edgar Davids didn't even turn up he was back home in Holland.

No service, but big and awkward as ever, just no pace any more. Annoyed the home fans, but i'd never say a word against him - always gave his all for us..

excuse ignorance, but thats what i kind of expected from non league football?

That is a bit of a myth about non-league Alfie, a lot of clubs do play on the floor and can pass a ball, as we did against Woking last week.

No different from higher levels of football really, iv seen matches at this
level that rarely fail to entertain ive then gone home and watched professional
players on tv who have sent me to sleep.

We play some cracking football on the floor but also have players who
are great in the air so given the opportunity any set pieces will be loaded in to the
box to take advantage of that.

Could not have been worse on Sat

but making up for it tonight 4-0  up at half time in Bath city  

Shocking start for Bath, we could have been 3 up before we got our first against them on Saturday.

I didn't go last night but from what I heard we played well but did everything but score and ended up losing 2-0 with the only two shots they had at goal.

Sounded like we could have 8 or 9 by the end of the game, I was not expecting Bath to be so shit to be honest

me neither they were expected to be in or around the play offs.

Great away win at the title favorites Bromley on Sat, 0-3  

Had a shocker mate, lost 3-1 against Hayes & Yeading. 3 injuries, all defenders in the first 2 games and the squad is completely stretched. The first choice right back has an ankle injury, the back up right back who can also play centre back has a broken jaw and first choice centre back has a hamstring injury.

Top of the table Eastbourne Saturday at home.
