Another dig at us. Apparently his Mrs might be a member on here too.

To give him some due, some fans probably do turn on the manager to an extent, but it would be hard to sit (and especially pay) through the last half a season of dross and not complain. I don't think there was that much of a Sam out campaign.

" I just hope I can give the Sunderland supporters some of the excitement they are looking for" ???
I rather thought that excitement was not BFS's strongest suit, that was the point.
Anyway, he'll do a good job for them I'm sure, he did exactly what was needed for us and I wish the old boy well. And I'm sure Nolan is looking for houses already...

Yeah, I wish him well too. He did the job that was asked of him at West Ham. I did not sympathise with the boo boys.

I read somewhere that he's looking to poach Ginge off us - he certainly needs him.

And O'Brien as well as bringing back CC! Nearly as bad as him bringing all the Notlob gang here when he first arrived.

Carlton - the Saviour of Wearside??  You never know....  scratch

Actually Notlob are reported to be after him, and Celtic. From our experience he's probably so unfit by now he couldn't play till the New Year - anyway, good luck to the old boy, he's probably got another season in him for someone.
