We beat Southends under 18 attitude squad 6-0. Proper men against boys stuff. We are still flying on last seasons wave, need the season to start now.

Good luck for the season mate. We have signed a few players that have stood out in the Ryman Premier over the last few seasons hopefully they can step up in this division.

dunno what the score is at Farnborough but this is i think the third time they have been in admin in the last 7-8 years






....Farnborough Football & Social Club Limited (in Administration) the Board of the Football Conference has recently been considering an application from the Administrator of the company to transfer its membership to a new company, Boro FC Limited (newco).


Unfortunately, Boro FC Limited (newco) was unable to meet the criteria required for such a transfer before the deadline issued for 3pm today.

Farnborough FC’s fixtures at home to Chelmsford City on Saturday, 17th August and away to Havant & Waterlooville on Monday, 19th August will not go ahead as the membership of the new company has not been approved.

In making this decision the Board also recognises the disappointment this action will mean to those clubs involved and their supporters.

The position will be considered again on Monday, 19th August.

Why leave it so close to the season starting ? Strange

the league have asked them to provide a £100K fund as they keep going into administration
no doubt Paddy Power will stump up the cash

No worries mate, non stop once it gets started aint it. Chelmsford away tomorrow, Dover away Saturday and then Sutton at home next Monday.

Blimey Daz.....How many teams play in that league?  Or are they trying to finish it in six weeks 

 

22 teams....it does make you wonder if the powers that be realise that most of these players have day jobs as well.

season finishes mid april , also a lot of games get called off in the frost
and some bloody stupid cup matches means a lot of teams play mid week a lot
there was one club whos name i can not remember had to play 3 games a weeks for nearly 2 months this year


got gosport home tomorrow
home at the weekend to Eastleigh
away to weston on bank holiday monday
then home to Stains


not forgetting we start in the FA cup qual rounds on 28th sept
so it can be 4-5 games in the FA cup before the first round proper

Absolutely battered them second half mate just couldn't get a winner.

They got a very soft penalty first half but we scored off of a players hand so that evened that up.

Ref was poor again though warning Chelmsford players about holding and pulling in the box and then looking at them doing it as the ball came in and gave nothing.

Only heard good things from our lot about Concord mate   they enjoyed the trip to your place

They are a friendly bunch down our place, usually have some friendly banter with opposition support wherever we go.

Interesting to read differing views on our game last night, their manager Dean Holdsworth said that he was disappointed with 

a point as our first goal looked offside and the second one came off a hand....didnt mention their soft penalty and the fact 

they got battered second half. Whereas his assistant Kenny Brown tweeted how on earth did they get a point out of that lol

Went to Dover today, we bossed the game first half, they had about 20 minutes of the second then it was end to end stuff. Won it with a great goal. Our midfielder jinking past about 4 players before cooling flicking the ball over the keeper with the outside of his boot into the bottom corner.

Arent Eastleigh near enough full time ? you cant buy team spirit can you mate.

Yes mate, Eastleigh train four days a week and have a lot on £1400 a week
best tell your lot to get a spare kit for the game after that lot as they like to try to swap shirts during the game
