Great start....Diame stands waiting for the ball whilst a Sunderland player nips in and takes the ball away.

Re: Sunderland V West Ham United FC
Couple of nice moves, Diame shocking on the left, defended really well, Nolan lucky not to concede a pen, looking pretty comfy, thought Matty Taylor's shot was gonna make the net bulge, Pretty poor game, 1-0 to the cockney boys

Re: Sunderland V West Ham United FC
Agree - lucky not to have conceded a penalty because it was one. Diame looks poor so I'd get him off at 1/2 time. Hopefully we can get a 2nd to make the next 45 mins more comfortable...

Re: Sunderland V West Ham United FC
well... that's that then.
some moments of good play from us... some moments of head in hands terrible play from us.
Sunderland were well up for it and played extremely well.
Fortunately the Ref didn't see Nolan's handball. 1-1 might have killed us.
2-0 we looked good. If the keeper hadn't made a great finger tip save from Downing we'd have cruised it at 3-0 despite passages of terrible play but 2-1 made it all a bit frantic.
Bottom line is... we win... we're 11 points clear of relegation.
Even if they win their two games in hand, Sunderland could still be in the bottom three if results go against them - or two above the relly places if results go their way.
Tomkins played well and made up for last weeks piss poor performance.
An injury to Linda doesn't look good but Armerwhatsisname looked ok but more of a going forward type than a bus parking type...
Liverpool next sunday just might be a classic... or a pant-wetting deluge of goals... hard to say.
But we're three points from real safety and probably already safe... which if we scroll back through the pages is about what most of us asked for on Day 1.

"West Ham have collected more points since New Year's Day than Arsenal, Manchester United, Southampton and Newcastle United."
it's from the offish, so I know it's offish but not if it's true...
