I imagine that the person in the club shop who does the replica shirts is really hoping this one doesn't go through....

Alfie, I don't care what Redknapp thinks just don't think Morrison can handle football at the top.
Good player on his day however seem to sulk if thing go wrong.
I would take what we can get for him and use the money to bring in someone who can be consistence.

I have a relative who is a QPR fan, says Morrison was undoubtedly the most skilful player they had last season but would go missing for large parts of games, particularly if he got clattered early. We all moan about having to carry Nolan.
Ravel remains a big gamble. If he sorts out his attitude he could be the biggest and best thing we've had since Tevez. But how long do we go on trying? Fergie gave up eventually, and passed him on to his mate BFS, who I suspect is ready to give up too. Sadly, you can't build a side around such an unreliable talent. Okay,he should not have been pressured to change his agent, but he should not have thrown such a strop about it either. My guess is that the Daves and BFS have already agreed a value - quite a high one - and that if anyone meets it this summer they will sell and put up with flak from the fans. If not, they will give him another run at the start of the season and hope he produces the goods and behaves like a professional.

Went missing for most of the game? That's an improvement on most of the squad who went missing for the whole season.
Can only afford luxury when the rest is tight. Sam knew that last season so did the right thing and gave him football.

Re: summer rumors and other nonsense
It would appear that the Double D's "demands" have started to be met, with the appointment of Teddy Sheringham. If this continues and more exciting younger players are signed, with their input, maybe they can persuade Morrison to keep his head down and become a big part of the "new era dawning at West Ham"
As it happens, the prospect of working with Teddy alone, should be enough to urge him on .....

Teddy is a pr stunt. He is non-contract. They're saying the right things, that's all I take it as. And I like them but cynical nonetheless.

No interest or bid for: Lacazette or Williams. Club will sell Morrison if right offer comes in,interest in four left backs-priority position

Most people are on holiday or off to the World Cup so business will be predictably slow for all clubs in the next month!

There was initial interest in Lacazette but initial enquires were rejected so we didn't follow up. Kolo and Olsson interest is real

Re: summer rumors and other nonsense
I like the sound of the Cresswell rumour, a young left back who has played consistently for Ipswich the last three seasons.
Knowing Sam he'll play him right back.

From the Offish ...
Hammers snap up Cresswell
West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated left-back Aaron Cresswell
03.07.2014
West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated left-back Aaron Cresswell.
The 24-year-old has joined the Hammers from Championship side Ipswich Town on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Born in Liverpool, Cresswell began his career with Tranmere Rovers before moving to Portman Road in 2011. He has enjoyed three outstanding seasons with the Tractor Boys, making nearly 150 appearances and earning Player of the Year honours in 2012.
A consistently impressive performer who has long been linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League, Cresswell joined Tranmere as a schoolboy before making his first-team debut at 18 in November 2008.
The 5'7" full-back played 80 times for the Super White Army over three seasons, scoring six goals, before moving up a division to Ipswich in summer 2011.
An outstanding debut season for the Suffolk club saw Cresswell voted Ipswich's Player of the Year for 2011/12.
He has followed that with two further impressive campaigns during which he has missed just four league matches - two of those through suspension and two through injury.
Last term, his outstanding all-round displays saw Cresswell voted into the Championship Team of the Year by his fellow professionals.
