If we get a 0-0 draw I wold be impressed. I can see us losing 2-0 the way he sets us up to get turned over!

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
I'm encouraged after a positive performance last week and some good performances by our new signings. My team for Saturday, based on the recent good reports on the fitness of Jenkinson and Tomkins, would be (in a 4-2-3-1 formation):
Adrian
Jenkinson, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell
Kouyate, Noble
Downing, Nolan, Zarate
Valencia
Subs:
Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Demel, Diame, Morrison, Cole, Sakho.

One of my best pals co owns palace, ( not Steve Parish ) and I'm going over to the game and will be in the Palace Directors box and will meet SoGo in the Directors lounge after the game ! WTF am I gonna say after my two years of ranting about the amateurish Mickey Mouse way they run our club (IMO) and just pray Fat Shams not gonna show his Hippo Head !!!!!

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
We should be looking at this Game tomorrow expecting a win but instead we are all worried that we are going to lose because of the way we set out to play !
I cant see us picking up the 3 points tomorrow as many people have said already I would more then happy with a point which just goes to show how much faith we all have in certain manager called Sam Allardyce !
A bit of topic but IF we were to do the unthinkable and sacked Sam tomorrow if we lose would any of you be happy if they brought in Tim Sherwood ?!? I would be happy with that , One thing is for sure we not get piss poor performances every week that's for sure as we saw he wasn't afraid to drop players etc
I would go with : Adrian,Demel,Kouyate*,Reid,Cresswell,Downing,Noble,Diame,Nolan,RVT,Valencia
SUB:Jussi,Burke,Poyet,Sakho,Cole,O`Brien,Jenkinson
*Think that Tomkins is still out injured

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
How many teams won at Selhurst Park in the second half of last season Arran? Only both Manchester clubs and Southampton - it will be a tough game and I don't think many teams, least of all West Ham United, can go away from home and 'expect' to win anywhere in the Premier League.
If Tim Sherwood was appointed as our manager, I would be absolutely apoplectic.
I've read that Tomkins is 70-30 to play tomorrow.

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
the only thing going in our favour tomorrow is palace might be a bit disjointed from having lost their manager (straw clutching). I must admit, if by the end of the day saturday we are on nil points i won't be a very happy camper, so I am hoping for a point. And funnily enough I do think we might grab three. depends if palace are disjointed and if our new signings are very up for it and put on some special performances to impress.
i must admit, i thought i read in a thread earlier in the week tomkins is injured so surprised to see him in peoples predicted teams for saturday.

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
copied this from the offish...
Team news
West Ham United
The Hammers will be without centre back James Collins, who is suspended after picking up a red card in last weekend's defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Fellow defender James Tomkins remains doubtful with a hamstring problem, while Matt Jarvis could also miss out, along with Carl Jenkinson (hamstring).
so... good... nothing to worry about there then.....
no defense... it's such a good job our forward line has such a killer instinct,

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Kouyate has played as a centre half many times so expect him to drop back
Poyet, Burke and Potts were held back from the U21's last night to join the first team
I would expect to see Burke on the bench

not bad, although I'm worried tomkins isn't really fit and playing cos he has to. But thats a decent team, good enough for a point at palace. Hope to see Valencia come off the bench quite early for cole if its not working so he can show us what he can do...

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
so we spent all this money on new players... we invested in an attacking coach...
and so we play Carlton Cole up front.

so you're saying Valencia should start from the get-go... because with the game not even begun, I can confidently predict how well Cole will perform...

20 minutes gone... watching the game (in between signal outages) on my phone...
nothing to write home about
Palace had the only half chase so far...
Comms questioning why Valencia isn't starting...

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
good link up play between Vaz Te and Zarate... but Zarate's touch let's him down in the 6 yard box...
earlier a nice overhead kick from Vz Te that resulted in a soft header straight at the keeper...

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
great goal by Zarate...
Vaz Te and Noble trying something new from a corner... Noble's shot cannons into the air and the Z mane volleys it from outside the 18 yard area into the corner...

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Sounds like Zarate and Vaz Te are playing well together. Not watching it so is that the case?
