Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
holyshitballs...
Downing runs through the entire Palace defense... cuts inside... bends it into the far corner...

Again, the forced change, and we score goals. One from Zarate, in for Nolan ..... just saying

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Vaz Te has never been our worst player
He wasn't our worst player last week
He's playing pretty well today and linking up nicely with people
I'd play him any day of the week in any formation ahead of Cole.
We now have both our centre backs on yellow cards... so we might not finish the age with 11 mean at this rate....

if only Cole had an injury record like Carroll's... we'd be top of the league

Should have been 3 up, instead 2-1 ....... Chamack, however you spell it. He certainly plays better against than he ever did for us.

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
holyshitballs...
we miss an open goal and Palace go down the other end...
we look totally nervy and Palace are all over us
we get a free kick on the halfway line...
ball goes all the way down to the penalty area... Vaz Te is being marked... ball falls to Cole and he puts it in the back of the net...
who'd have thunk it? certainly not me...
1-3

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
That was a great win. Really pleasing to see the new boys blend in so well.
Allerdyce needs to cut his ties with Nolan and Carroll and pick the correct players every game, regardless of injuries.
Bring on the blunts .......... I want to stuff them stupid.

Was down the Camrose today , so will watch the extended highlights, great result though
Other pluses , the Mighty B'stoke won, Millwank lost and Fulham lost , Got 28/1 on Fulham getting relegated

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Massive improvement from the Irons, have to say though Palace were poor
having watched a bit of the pre season and the first two games I think we have a £10M+ player in Kouyate

Mark Noble was (supposed to be) marking Chamakh but chose instead to leave him and chase the ball into the right back area where JOB had things covered. This left Chamakh all the time in the world to have a shot. Nobody closed him down and it arrowed into the bottom left hand corner. No chance for Adrian

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Back in Paddy land after a cracking day in a South London, at the game as the guest of one of Palaces directors. For the most part we looked composed, assured, kept the ball well and kept in on the deck, definately moving in the right direction and pretty much the best we've played in a long while always bearing we were playing a Palace team in turmoil at the moment.
Kouyate my man of the match and looks the real deal, Zarate also looked good and most importantly yesterday emphasised the fact that Nolan is surplus to requirements and we are so better balanced without him and the whole philosophy of lump it up pin ball, ping pong hit and hope football that Fat Sham built around him and Carroll and they become plan B or C and we keep moving in the direction we are and let's hope Valencia gets a start and starts scoring as there has to be a better combo than Cole and Vas Te
Ps
When I met David Sullivan and introduced my self he said "Ahh, Your the waiter who brought Ray Winstone up to the directors lounge" I should have replied "and your Dildo Dave, who gave us Avram Grant then Fat Sham Rolladice"

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
So Nolan out injured.....what a stroke of luck that was eh ?
My optimism was lifted the minute I saw the team sheet.
Superb display that had MOTD peeps loving our performance.
Onwards and upwards hopefully

Re: Palarse V West Ham United FC
Apparently Sam Allardyce said that Nolan missed yesterday`s game because of an injury he picked up in training and he will be for a few weeks !
Let`s hope this "Injury" keeps Nolan out for most of this season
