His goal tally is going to be better than Cole's. His assists will continue to outweigh his goal tally because, frankly, Sam's system relies entirely on the pivotal role that Carroll is born to play.
The boy's a good in. Will be squeaky bum time throughout January-we will struggle heavily without him.

I thought he was going to get one yesterday as he was getting closer & closer & was giving the City defence a good run around. I was very surprised when Sam took him off as he didn't seem to be tiring at all to me & looked a bit pissed at getting called off.

FIFA Regulations for the Status and Transfer of Players, Chapter III: Registration of Players, Article 5.3 stated:
Players may be registered for a maximum of three clubs during the period from 1 July until 30 June of the following year. During this period, the player is only eligible to play in Official Matches for two clubs.
Andy Carroll came on in the 83rd minute for Borini in the Liverpool vs Manchester City game on the 26th of August. So if we did buy him it would be shall we say, an ambitious tactic to put it mildly.

Hilarious how the Mail this morning were reporting that the yids were going to buy him in January, Someone must have pointed the rule about two clubs out to them. Now they come up with the summer signing.
