Re: West Ham United FC V Stoke
As with last week I wouldn't be to disappointed with a draw today against Stoke as they are a difficult team to play against and will be just as difficult if not more harder to beat under Hughes as they were under Pulis
Though a win and another clean sheet would be nice as we can go top if we beat Stoke !
I would go with : 4-5-1/4-3-3
Jussi,Demel,Collins,Reid,O`Brien,J.Cole,Noble,Diame,Nolan,Jarvis,Vaz Te
SUBS:Adrian,Tomkins,Collison,Downing,Maiga,Morrison,Taylor
I would start RVT upfront today as he would be going out and proving a point why he should get a run of games playing upfront instead of Maiga
Having players such as Downing, Morrison and Collison on the bench is so nice to see as we now know that we have players who are quick and could come on and change a game etc for us .
I 'am going to say a 1-0 West Ham win with our Captain Nolan getting the goal !

Seeing as RVT has handed in a transfer request i very much doubt he is anywhere near the first team let alone playing today

Sitting in new home shirt and getting excited about my first game of the season.
Son number 1 has already set off and me and son number 2 will set off around 1300 hours.
I expect to see a will today.

Agreed......Sam is miffed, but whether he should put this before the good of the team is another matter...Campo wrote:Seeing as RVT has handed in a transfer request i very much doubt he is anywhere near the first team let alone playing today

Re: West Ham United FC V Stoke
Lets hope that Joe Cole is not Injured or if he is it`s not a bad injury !
Wonder if BFS will bring on Lee if we are a few goals to the good in the 2nd half , Would be good to give young lee a taste of what the Premiership is about .
I hate to say this but why has he got Matt Taylor on the bench he is useless as proven on number occasions last season Surely He could of given a youngster like Fanimo or Turgott a place on the bench instead !?!?
looking at that line up we should have enough quality to beat Stoke IMO

What a load of crock......Stoke all over us......Having to defend with everyone except Maiga so when we do get the ball it's punted back to Stoke!
Seriously lacking class up front, Maiga in this system just isn't cut out for it!

Re: West Ham United FC V Stoke
We need to improve a lot in the 2nd half if we want to get any thing out of this , Stoke have been by far the better team and maybe should of gone in at half time in front !
Never thought I would ever say this but Maiga is WORST then Cole and that says something !
I know it a massive gamble but I would take Maiga off and bring Elliot Lee on for the 2nd half as we cant do any worse bringing him on then leaving Maiga on the pitch !

Re: West Ham United FC V Stoke
We have been worse than poor......I almost feel sorry for the fans today because that was one of the most pathetic displays I have seen from us in a while, Maiga is just sh*t....Plain and simple! You want to free up wages then ship him off he just isn't up to the premier league..........Nolan has hardly featured, Noble has given the ball away far too much, Downing has been pretty ineffectual, the only players with any sort of credit are Collins, Jussi and Jarvis

One of the worst West Ham performance for a very long time.
Useless in midfield and up front.
Did not have a clue and did not seem to care.
We made Stoke look like a very good team.
Makes me want to ask for my money back.

Just back from the game , it was the worst performance I have seen since the season we went down . fupping Allardyce hasn't got a fupping clue , pumping high balls in to their ever so tall defence for the whole game , most of the time there wasn't even any of our players in the box . Every ball cleared or even passed around midfield was picked up by Stoke . Hoof ball is on the cards for the season especially when Carroll is fit .
I hate that Hippo headed minge with a passion ...we seriously need a FOOTBALL manager and the sooner this deformed minge either dies or is sacked the better .
Good away support that made a lot of noise , fair play to them , and that fat guy that was winding them up was he chucked out ?

We were lucky to get 0 but does anyone else think the wall bottled it for the free kick ?
I think it was Nolan the main culprit, seemed to pull his neck in rather than jumping and getting it in the face Scott Parker styley.
