Re: Spurs V West Ham United FC
Spurs getting crosses in at will from both sides of the pitch. We are making little attempt to stop them. One of them will end in a goal
As usual the decision to play Collison in central midfield is not working. SO weak. No upper body strength whatsoever. Add in Matt Taylor who has the same tackling ability and is even slower it will all end in tears

Re: Spurs V West Ham United FC
One of the best 2nd half performances I have seen from us in a long time.....Maiga actually impressed me tonight, winning almost every flick on (Plus we had players running in behind him to get onto the ball) Taylor I thought had a good game, Collins was just completely solid as usual and it was good to see Diarra back in action again....It's a nice win which will at least cushion the blows of the next couple of games.......Although it's a semi final I can't help but hope that Allardyce still has the league in his thoughts and continues to put out a second string against Man City for both legs......They earned this win, the way city are playing I can see it being an 8-0 aggregate rout and I would just see what the second string can do in terms of trying to hold them off for as long as possible....If I see Sam name Andy Carroll anywhere near a Carling Cup team I'm gonna go postal!!!
Quality win tonight and means I get to gloat and taunt my area manager tomorrow for which will result in me being pulled up for every tiny little thing tomorrow.....It will be bliss!

Re: Spurs V West Ham United FC
JINGLE BELLS JINGLE BELLS JINGLE ALL THE WAY OH WHAT FUN IT IS TO SEE WEST HAM WIN AWAY !!!
I was out on a date last night, phones switched off, so I couldn't get any updates etc, I recorded the extended highlights on sky, im not long home (date went well, back of the net !!) and have just watched the recorded highlights
Yeeeeeees Yeeeeeees, fecking Yeeeeeees, What a fecking result !! and as you all know and like I've been saying all along on, Sam Allardyce is some manager and that hit and hope football we play is definately the way forward !!! LMAO
From the highlights I saw, We played with a passion and commitment which seemed to have been missing in previous games.
First half we were over run in midfield and Townsend and Lennon gave Obrien and Rat a torrid time but in central defence we were outstanding, especially Collins who was immense for the whole 90 mins (and who later almost scored with a pass back to their keeper, after a stoppage and from from well inside our half which would have made him an all time WHUFC legend)
We started the second half with Maiga on for C.C. and More of the same Tottenham pressure up untill they scored and we made changes bringing on Diame and Morrison for joe Cole and Diarra (Townsend injured and taken off for them ) which changed the game we had more energy in midfield and we were the better side for the remaining 20 mins and hats of to Maiga, he put it about, headed a knock down to Taylor who put in Jarvis for the first goal and scored the second with a great header from build up play from both other subs, Morrison and Diame and the rest, as they say is history and the shots of our fans celebrating the goals and final whistle were fecking priceless and this exiled Hammer is a very happy boy with TWO great results last night !!!!!

Not much to say about this game.
Could have lost it in the first half but seem to finish off the better team in the second half.
Glad we won.
