well the good news is that Vidic is suspended and Van Persie is injured...

so it'll be us against Giggsy and Rooney.

there really is no way to call this one...

If we lose most people won't be surprised... despite the fact that ManUre are shite these days... but even being shite... there's shite and then there's ManUre being shite... which is still a darn sight better than most of the teams in the Prem...

There's no reason why we can't beat them... but then our last two games show exactly why we're in the position that we are... and I don't mean halfway up the table, I mean three points from the relegation precipice...

just looking at the matches above it's pretty even steven...

We scored 10 conceded 5 (4 wins 2 losses)
They scored 8 conceded 5 (2 wins 2 losses and a nil-nil)

I still say we need 9 or 10 out of 12 and having spunked away the first three points to Stoke we really do need to win this and the next two games.

With Vidic out along with RVP I don't think we will get a better chance to beat utd then today , As long as we can keep Rooney quiet we could win this today !

oh lordy... I've seen some embarrassing results on the telly against ManUre over the years.

At least we know how the other results went today... we're down to 14th... but three points here and we'll be back up to 11th.

Diame dances delightfully through the ManUre defense inside the penalty area then seems to forget what he's doing and dance himself out of possession...

it's not like we don't get the ball into the ManUre penalty area but like just now it goes from the goal line to way back in our half - without the opposition actually touching it.

Still we got it all the way back again and won a corner... do we get points for that?

Indeed, despite my criticism of him for Rooney's goal in all other respects he's been outstanding.
