Summed us nicely Kray Jr. Each time we have played a top side at UP this season it has been like a training game for them

We have a massive rebuilding job to do in the summer

before I read comments or watch MOTD, my initial reaction is one of real disappointment. I really thought man u were there for the taking. good time to be playing them. fergie often used the European hangover excuse and poor league form (plus RVP crooked for 6 weeks?). but based on the score and some status on FB it sounds like we were negative and undone by a wonder goal/ fluke.

off to read the thread from top to bottom.

    Very disappointed with this game.
No doubt we will see the Rooney goal many times over the next few years.
I think we have to face the facts that we have a team with many crap players in it.
At least half the team out yesterday needs to go in the summer.
Think we will be safe but it will be touch and go at the end of the season.

it's difficult to know what to say Chaz... this is the same team that won four on the spin..

that's the bit that does my head in... same players... one week we play well and win game after game... next week it's the same bunch and we couldn't win if the opposition went home.

I know Sam fucked with the formation last eek which was why we lost to Stoke... but this was pretty much our full strength first team and they were honestly nowhere to be seen yesterday...

At least Stoke are destroying Villa so we don't look quite such a bunch of pansies for losing against them last week but it still doesn't excuse our return to poor form.

Are we really going to go from four wins on the trot to four losses?

I think I may have an answer. Big Sam and his teams only seem to be able to do well when it's squeaky bum desperate need of a win time. As seen when we capitulated in the coco pops only to pull it back around in the play offs. When bottom at Christmas we manged to dig some rather good results out, soon as things looked approximately safe and comfortable we are shit again.

So I expect us to slip back into the relegation zone and look down and out with 4 games to go before a heroic final day survival thriller. Good for fat Sam as people remember a great ending rather then a good first half that slips into mediocrity (I.e an Alan curbing let season)

    All tongue in check IMHO

the next two games, Hull & Sunderland, are MUST wins...

who do we have after those?

    Arsenal & Liverpool...

Cos we ain't getting nothing out of those two the way we're playing...

I agree however I not sure our lot have it in them to win.

Two wins and we could be well on the way to being safe.

Lose and we are in trouble.

We were fupping dreadful, ManPoo did not have to work at all for their points.

There better be some improvement on Wednesday night.

and FFS stop playing Diame on the wing. We have no power or pace in the middle of the park. Diame HAS to play centrally. If that means dropping Taylor then so be it

With Taylor, Noble and Nolan we have nobody who can run from the centre of midfield at the heart of an opponents defence. We have two players on our books who can do that - Diame and Morrison. One is played left wing and one is on loan in the Championship

Any chance of recalling Morrison and sending Diame to QPR, the bloke infuriates me every time I watch him play.

Surely by now he would have worked out, or some body would have told him, that he looks a complete twat every time he does a step over and loses the ball.

Hope we get a good win against Hull as me mates boys is a mascot.  Very Happy

Just back from India, watched the game  in Cochin, Kerala,
Worst Man U team to have played us for donkey's years, where there for the taking but our team of average Joes under Fat Sam couldn't take advantage, we are devoid of any real quality, our passing and movement are just not up to Prem league standard, Fat Sam is a chancer, 3 out of the four we won on the trot where without the suspended Carroll who our whole team and style of play is built around and who would have been playing if not suspended and those 3 games we won with out him would have been very different if he had been playing and  may have been different results, and like I said, Allardyce is a chancer, and we need a complete change of direction and rebuild in the summer starting with the manager.
