Rooney takes the free kick from the Taylor foul and fortunately can't quite get it down so it bounces off the top of the net...

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
Free kick to us deep in our half which Adrian takes... but the end result is weak play form us and Utd on the attack...
fortunately it ends in a goal kick

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
no midfield for us at all apparently... Utd just dance through and fortunately Rooney balloons over the bar from outside the area...
2 mins of additional time to hold on... really looking like we're not that interested in playing...
I mean... we're on the 'attack" again but it ends in a throw to us down by the corner flag

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
corner ends with Carroll being chased off the ball by Fallani and Utd going on the attack with Rooney fortunately completely missing the ball and a goal kick to us is the end result of our throw in as the half time whistle blows and there's a couple of half-hearted 'boos' in the stadium
Even the crowd can't be arsed

Agree it's all looking a bit one sided but I can't really see what the ref's done wrong. Being fair we gifted them both goals...Admin wrote:Starting to look a bit one sided to me , I think the fans are right " the referee,s a

Corner to us goes way into row Z but fortunately it's ruled as another corner to us...
Head tennis until Fellani boots it out to the halfway line and a throw in for us

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
sorry... got bored and was playing with the cat...
we had a bit of possession on the edge of the Utd box but made nothing of it...
it's not a Utd corner which Ginge heads out only for Utd to regain possession and after several chances get another corner out of it.
Jarvis has "stripped off" and is going to come on... Diame looks like he's going
Corner came to nothing.

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
comms thinks we're trying to make a game of it... Utd seem to have taken their foot off the gas... which is what you do when you're coasting at 0-2...

ball hoofed up the park to Carroll who's completely on his own... in true Carlton Cole style, he jumps and knocks it down to... the opposition...

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
point being... if you know you're on your own, you take possession of the gal and hold it up until a team mate comes to join you...
well we got the ball to the goal line but Carroll and Cole on top of each oner manage to miss it.
The corner ends up with a breakaway by Utd which only doesn't end in a goal because they crossed it so poorly in our area that it flew over the head of whichever of their players was waiting to nod it into the empty net.
Nocerino is waiting to come on.

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
Tomo down injured after a challenge on Fellani after Nocerino loses possession and Utd attack...
course... we have no more subs to replace him...
ugh...
can we just go home now and leave it as 0-2?

"mop head" could have been sent off and we'd still be losing 0-2
everything that's shit about this game is down to us... not Utd, not the referee... we brought this on ourselves.

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
Agreed BUT Mop Head is still a wanker and the ref gave him toooooo many chances which makes it one sided

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
I think we could easily have given a penalty against mop head then with Ginge and the Italian chipping away at him as he ran into the box but the ref gave nothing. Basically we've been shit. A poor game and I expected more...

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
sorry peeps... much like our boys out there, I've given up on today's game...
just can't be arsed with this one.
not what we wanted or needed... a weak arse Utd team and we just handed it to them.
and there goes the final whistle... piss poor from us

Re: West Ham United FC V Man U
Embarrassing to watch at times today. Seemed a lack of effort from our lot.
Passing was shocking, to make it worse when players gave it away did they work hard to get back and win it back ? no just a light trot
back to their position.
On the first goal, very soft from Tomkins but then what was Adrian doing spinning round whilst chasing back, can he not run backwards and keep his eyes on the ball ?
The second goal was just as bad Noble clears straight at Rooney and it goes in, why was Noble in the centre back position ? where
were Collins and Tomkins....and who was tracking Rooney ?
With Man U struggling for centre backs do we go with Downing and Jarvis on the wings and try and get as many balls in to Carroll as possible ? of course not
